Privacy & AI Compliance: Dastra Raises €4.3 Million to Accelerate Its European Expansion and Integrate AI for DPOs
Paris, May 27, 2025 – The French startup Dastra, specialized in data governance and regulatory compliance, announces a fundraising of €4.3 million to strengthen its growth in Europe and integrate artificial intelligence features into its SaaS platform. This strategic move comes amid tightening regulations, led by C4 Ventures and ADNEXUS, with participation from historical investors.
As regulations around data and AI intensify in Europe with the enforcement of the AI Act and the NIS2 directive, Dastra is positioning itself as a key partner for DPOs and compliance officers. With an intuitive solution, the company enables users to map, automate, and document compliance processes while preparing to launch an AI agent capable of performing complex tasks autonomously.
Already adopted by over 5,000 organizations (including SNCF, France Télévisions, and MAIF), the platform derives 20% of its revenue from international sales, confirming its ambition to become a European leader in Privacy and AI compliance.
“We are thrilled to welcome such strategic investors as C4 Ventures and ADNEXUS to our board. This funding will allow us to accelerate our technological roadmap and our deployment in Europe,” comments Paul-Emmanuel, co-founder of Dastra.
