In this version 1.8.1 of Dastra, we’ve made substantial improvements to enhance your user experience. While many of these changes focus on technical optimizations 🔧, we’ve also introduced new features designed to make your operations even smoother and more efficient.
🚀 New Features
Suspension of Data Subject Rights Requests
You can now temporarily suspend data subject rights requests, such as when awaiting supporting documents, giving you greater flexibility in managing them.
Once suspended, the legal response deadline is paused until you lift the suspension.
Additionally, the history of actions taken on a request can now be exported to track the events related to the rights exercise request (only available for a specific request).
Uploading attachments in Data subject request forms
We have implemented the ability to upload attachments directly from the form used to submit a rights exercise request.
To do this, a new field must be added to the form, and a new step in the request process will be created. Once the user has filled out the form fields, they will be able to upload an attachment, such as an identity document.
Transfer List and Globe Views
We’ve introduced two new views to simplify the management and visualization of your transfers: a list view for a more structured management approach, and a globe view for a more intuitive geographical representation.
The list view allows you to filter your transfers and also perform bulk actions on them.
The new globe view allows you to visualize your transfers in a global context, making it easier to understand data flows on a worldwide scale.
✨Improvements
- Migration to the Vue 3 framework: We’ve undertaken a major technical overhaul by migrating to Vue 3, marking an important step in the evolution of our platform. This update significantly enhances Dastra's performance, boosts UI responsiveness, and simplifies code maintenance. With this migration, we can offer you a smoother experience and continue to innovate more rapidly.
- Custom fields in checkpoints: For more personalized management, you can now add specific fields to your checkpoints.
- Stakeholder table in custom reports: Benefit from a more detailed view of your custom reports with the addition of a stakeholder table.
- Dimensions for recipient types and data subjects: We’ve enriched custom reports by including dimensions related to recipient types and data subjects.
- Visual indicator in inter-processing relationships: A visual indicator has been added to notify you when a parent item is archived in inter-processing relationships, simplifying your data management.
- Bulk deletion of incidents: A new feature allows you to delete incidents in bulk, optimizing the management of unforeseen situations.
- Visual redesign of the questionnaire dashboard: The questionnaire dashboard has been completely redesigned to offer a more modern and intuitive interface.
- AI-generated information notices for AI systems: With the help of artificial intelligence, you can now automatically generate information notices for your AI systems.
- Display of attached items in questionnaires: During response reviews, managers can now directly view attached items in the questionnaires, simplifying the evaluation process.
- These updates, though sometimes invisible on the surface, keep Dastra at the forefront of technology while providing you with more powerful and tailored tools.
We hope these enhancements will make your experience with Dastra even more enjoyable and efficient, and we look forward to your feedback!
