Required under Regulation 9 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, and relevant payroll/employment record-keeping duties. HMRC requires records for 6 years.

Equivalent under Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR). Employers must keep records of reportable injuries.

TULR(C)A 1992, Employment Relations Act 1999, and Health and Safety (Consultation with Employees) Regulations 1996. Employee representation must be documented.

Based on Working Time Regulations 1998, employers must record rest periods if not granted collectively.
